The effective water jacket-cooling achieves an efficiency increase of several percentage points in comparison to oil jacket-cooling. Moreover, the service life of the gear oil is increased to 18,000 operating hours.

Variable cooling air flow rate
Innovative fan system ensures demand-based cooling-air flow.

Thanks to the innovative fan system, cooling air flow is regulated as needed. This enables optimal adjustment to the corresponding load situation and cooling air temperature.

The rotors and housing on the oil-free compression rotary screw compressor airend are equipped with a special coating developed in-house, which consists of three layers: Nanoceramic, PEEK basecoat, and a top coat. Not only is this exceptionally durable, but also food-safe, as certified by the FDA and EU regulation 1935.

Fiber-free pulsation dampers

Kaeser's new fiber-free pulse dampers keep pressure losses to an absolute minimum, help maintain consistent air quality and, unlike fiber versions, do not present a source of contamination for the compressed air.

High-efficiency condensate separator

Thanks to its flow-optimized design, the newly developed condensate separator reliably separates the condensate downstream from the air coolers, with minimal pressure loss.

Easy-care inlet valve

The pneumatically operated inlet valve is unaffected by contaminants and condensate. Thanks to its robust mechanics, it is reliable and easy to maintain. Service is only required after 18,000 operating hours. The coating is suitable for use in the food and pharmaceuticals industries.

Integrated refrigerated dryer

Even for oil-free rotary screw compressors, refrigerated dryers are the cost-effective choice for delivering the best possible energy efficiency when requiring pressure dew points to 38 °F. Pressure dew points below 38 °F require desiccant dryers.

Integrated i.HOC® drum dryer

The patented i.HOC rotary dryer from Kaeser uses up to 100% of compressor heat! Thanks to full-flow regeneration, it delivers reliable pressure dew points up to an ambient temperature of 115°F – completely without electrical heating or additional cooling of the regeneration air!

    i.HOC uses the heat exchangers of the second compression stage, which have been optimized for heat recovery, as regeneration air coolers.

The i.HOC® (Integrated Heat of Compression Dryer) system uses 100 % of the heat of compression from the second compression stage for drying purposes (full-flow regeneration). This heat is produced and available for use at zero cost.

  • No additional energy input for the drying process
  • Higher regeneration potential than with partial-flow regeneration dryers
  • Full performance, even with low compressor load

The advantages of full-flow regeneration are clear—especially with increased coolant temperatures. Kaeser drum dryers achieve outstanding drying results even without additional heating of the regeneration air.
